In an attempt to explore her mind unaccompanied, Okay Kaya completely isolated herself for weeks when creating her latest album ‘SAP’. Juxtaposed to the rapidly rising number of writers behind contemporary hit music, the Norwegian-American musician and actress wrote, produced, performed, and engineered the entire record all by herself at first. In the end of this lonely process, she was longing to collaborate again and invited her friends to her studio to sing or play an instrument, reflecting Kaya back to herself from various angles. The outcome is a chaotic yet beautiful representation of her inner world and the unpredictable and playful arrangements follow her free-roaming thoughts on this truly original album. We welcome the enigmatic Okay Kaya to Stay Out West.

After some time off, the acclaimed trio MOR is back. This time in a new constellation joining forces with GRANT. MOR released their debut album in early 2022 and got raving reviews from media and listeners. The new trio still consists of legendary hip-hop producer Thomas Rusiak and Robyn/Yung Lean/FKA Twigs collaborator Fredrik Okazaki, and the new addition of singer Caroline Cederlöf, better known as GRANT. Grant has managed to be nominated for a Swedish Grammy, P3 Gold, wrote themes for TV series and won the award for best commercial music at Roygalan.
