Joni Ekman Group

Joni Ekman Group is a power trio from Tampere, Finland, formed in 2022. They have released one self-titled album (2024) and are currently creating new music. Their music is a bit more mellow and has more psychedelic nuances compared to Joni’s boogie rock band, Joni Ekman & Koira. Joni Ekman Group has been compared to Wigwam, Dungen, Hot Tuna and other classic rockers. You will also hear live renditions of tracks from some of Joni’s solo albums.
